About Uni publishes free, independent guidance for people applying to UK universities and conservatoires. It is general information, not personalised advice, and it is not affiliated with UCAS or any institution.

Check the source

Deadlines, fees and entry requirements change every cycle. We date and update our guides, but the university's own website and ucas.com are always the authoritative source. Confirm anything important there before acting on it.

Using our content

Teachers, advisers and parents are welcome to link, print and share our guides for non-commercial use, with credit to aboutuni.com. Republishing guides wholesale, or using them in paid products, needs our written permission first.

Affiliate links

Some pages, such as our toolkit, contain affiliate links, always marked "ad". If you buy through one, About Uni earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never determine what we recommend, and we accept no payment from universities or admissions services of any kind.

Following our guidance improves your odds; it cannot promise an offer. Admissions decisions rest entirely with each institution, and we accept no liability for decisions made based on this site.
